LAWRENCE — State and local police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in a house at Park and Lexington streets.
The victims, both of whom were shot to death, were a man and a woman
believed to be in their 40s, according to acting police Chief James Fitzpatrick. Police had not determined the identity of the shooter Tuesday night, Fitzpatrick said.
No children were involved, the chief said.
The shooting happened in a white wooden-frame house with a fenced-in yard. Police cordoned off the area with crime scene tape and blocked all streets leading to the location of the shootings.
