Jorgeluis López was born in January 2 in Allentown P.A. His passion for music started at the age of 8 when he would watch his grandparents sing in the church choir. Jorgeluis Lopez also known as Jay L admired his uncle who played in a popular salsa band of the time. He decided to follow his passion by joining a group of romantic urban music. The project did not work out and Jay L received a call to audition for 4ever "when I first received the call, I couldn’t believe it", He describes the call as "Gods answer to his prayers". At the audition Jay L met the members of 4ever and HIT IT OFF immediately. Jay L promises to bring life & his passionate energy to propel 4ever & his musical career. He is anxious and ready to form part of 4ever’s future.

“When a 4 part harmony group has established roots in a musical genre (Bachata), it’s a tough transition to accept a new member for many reasons. As the manager and creator of the group I had to be very careful in my decision to select someone new that would fit in every aspect because I knew that the individual that I picked was going to have a lot of challenges. Jay L is a determined and focused singer that can dance, however he would have to have more than those abilities. My main concern was who he is as a person and not just the artist. Selecting a new member has been one of the most difficult things that I have had to do with 4ever, but I’m confident and glad it happened to be Jay L” .  Derek Deler
